Appreciation
Good morning, Eternal Church,
I pray this finds you warm and well. This morning I’d like to thank you for all the kind words of appreciation this month; my heart is full! With that, I would also like to highlight three other groups.
The Lay Elders and Deacons at Eternal - they serve this church in the margins of their free time, and they are a vital part of the life of this church. Often their work is done offstage and when the building is empty. Please take a moment to appreciate them tangibly.
The Staff at Eternal - they also serve tirelessly all week long and are the reason any of the pastors can serve in the way they do! They continually hold things together and make sure the ministry of the Word can be heard, considered, and lived out. Please take a moment to appreciate them in a tangible way as well!
Other Local Pastors of Gospel Churches - I’d like to highlight two other pastors at local gatherings as those I’d love for us to appreciate this month.
Pastor Brett Day at Milltown Church is a wonderful minister of the Gospel.
Pastor Femi Oke is another local pastor at Manna House in Charlotte.
I wonder how we, as a church, could tangibly show these young pastors how thankful we are for them?!? To start with, you could drop off a card in the basket in the foyer addressed to them, and we will make sure it gets to them.
Thanks again for the opportunity to walk with you as we grow in our understanding of what we have received in Christ, for the sake of declaring what we have received in Christ!
