Why James?

This Sunday we will begin our work in the book of James. I chose James as our first book to study together because it lays out an extremely clear and practical description of what it means to be a member of the Church of Jesus Christ. It is unflinching in its exhortations of what it looks like to live in community and step out into the community.

As we start our journey together, I can think of no better way then to look at how WE ought to do what we believe!

My hope is that each of us commit not only to being there each Sunday, but also to surrendering our hearts to the work of the Spirit through His Word.
