Luke 6:37-42 || "Can a Blind Man Lead a Blind Man?”

“Judge not, and you will not be judged.” ~ Jesus
In a court of law, I want a good judge to ensure justice. I want to be a good judge of character so I don’t get scammed or taken advantage of. I want to be able to rightly judge the ripeness of an avocado so I don’t open it up to find a mushy, black piece of fruit. I want to be able to correctly judge when I’ve had enough sun exposure so I don’t get burned (judgment I was recently lacking).
But in the sermon on the plain, Jesus tells his audience, “Don’t judge."
Is it even possible to not judge? Is it wise or foolish? What is Jesus getting at here?
