C.S. Lewis’ masterpiece introduces us to a world where “it’s always winter but never Christmas.” But as the story unfolds, the ice begins to melt—spring is coming. After so many years of weariness, what has changed? The King is on the move.

In Luke 4:31-41, the King is on the move. Having announced Himself as the fulfillment of Isaiah’s prophecy (Isaiah 61), Jesus begins His ministry of releasing captives, freeing the oppressed, and ushering in “the year of the Lord’s favor.” The King is on the move!
