This Sunday!
We are going to look at James 1:5–8.
[5] If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him. [6] But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea that is driven and tossed by the wind. [7] For that person must not suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord; [8] he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways. (ESV).
As I have sat with this text for the last four days, I have been deeply convicted and challenged about my posture toward God. I have thought about what leads me to pray to God, and what leads me to praise God. Which then causes me to wonder about how I view His character toward His children.
There is a lot here, and I am beginning to get excited that maybe the Spirit will use this passage for a mighty work in my heart and the hearts of our church.
Let us pray for such things!
See you Sunday!
By His Grace Alone!
