This Sunday we turn the corner literally as we enter the half-way point of the Book of I Samuel...chapter 16:1-13. 

But also, we turn the corner from a King God chose but grieved over, to a new King he will rejoice over for so many years. Our "beloved of God" David enters the scene for the first time.


This section of scripture is ground zero for the Gospel, and I will explain why as we walk through the text together.
