What is your short testimony?
As a third grader I accepted Christ after attending confirmation classes at St. John's Methodist Church. It was not until later tears in high school that my faith grew stronger and deeper due to the excitement and teaching at First Baptist Church. My faith was a personal private matter, but became one that was to be shared. It was there I was baptized by immersion in the service as opposed to being sprinkled as a third grader with my parents attending. I became a member of First Baptist where Scott and I were married and raised our three children. We became a team in youth ministry there and our path was set to follow His calling wherever it led. Each place we served prepared us for the next where we eventually planted Stony Fork Community Church. We pastored there for 10 years until Scott retired. Again, that chapter prepared us to serve at Eternal. Following Jesus is filled with many ups and downs. It is not for sissies, but there is nothing I would change.

What is your hope for Eternal Church?
I pray that we remember where our joy is founded and spread that joy inside the walls of Eternal, so that we may extend it out into the community.
