Don was raised in the church as a child, left the church in a dismay as a young man, and now has been redeemed back to it as a vital voice challenging the culture of American Christianity and syncretized religion in his middle years.
He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Christian ministries from Cincinnati Christian University in 1989 and has a rich and varied ministry background from being on staff in “megachurches” to ministering in small, rural churches to pastoring a vibrant missionary church in the Western Highlands of Guatemala.
Don came to Fort Mill in January of 2015 in response to a call from the elders at Eternal Church to become their new pastor.
Don has a beautiful and supportive wife, Heather, and three publicly charming kids: Aidan and Althea (twins) and Olivia. His main goals are to be 1) a man after god’s heart, 2) an honoring and serving husband, 3) a nonexasperating father, and 4) a faithful church pastor. He believes if he gets the first one right, everything else will fall into place.
Joshua received a Bachelor of Arts degree in organizational leadership from the University of South Carolina in 2016 and is currently enrolled at Columbia International University where he is pursuing a Master of Arts in expository preaching.
Joshua married his best friend of many years in 2014. Gabriela works full-time at home taking care of their son, James Kingston, which she says is her truest calling from the Lord. Gabriela ministers to students and children alongside Joshua and is his greatest encourager.

Jesse received a Bachelor of Science degree in education in 2005 and a Master’s degree in education in 2006 from Wright State University in Dayton, OH. During his college years, he spent his time working with a college ministry called One80 where the Lord began putting ministry on his heart.
Jesse moved to Fort Mill in August of 2006 to begin a teaching career at Fort Mill Middle School. He began serving as Eternal Church’s part-time worship leader in March 2007 and also served in a full-time role with the church from June 2011 to July 2014. During that time, he met his bride, Ivy, and together they started a family. In the fall of 2014, Jesse went back to a full-time teaching position at Fort Mill Middle School and continues leading worship at Eternal Church.
Ivy is a stay-at-home mom where she teaches and instructs their children in the way of the Lord. They have a daughter, Edie Elizabeth, and a younger son, Ira David.

Jacob has served in a variety of church and parachurch ministries over the past 20 years in roles ranging from discipleship counseling to worship leadership to student ministry. He received his Master of Divinity degree from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary in 2014.
Beyond discipling individuals and couples who are frustrated in their faith or spiritually stuck or struggling, Jacob is excited about organizing opportunities such as conferences, classes, and ministry training. His administrative roles include helping visitors move to become members in community groups and serving on ministry teams.
Jacob and Angela were married in their hometown of Melbourne, FL in 2010 but have lived in Charlotte since 2012. They happily moved to Fort Mill in October 2017 and are enjoying the change of pace from the big city to the family-friendly community–and reduced traffic and taxes.

Kristen has also worked closely with
the women’s ministry.
Bill and Kristen have two daughters, Leah and Jenna, and a beloved dog, Phoebe. Kristen enjoys spending time with her family and friends, cooking, and reading.
During the years of 2011 to 2014, the Gardner family spent time in Guatemala working with Pray America and fell in love with the people of Guatemala. All four of them left a large piece of their hearts and lives there in that beautiful country. Today they desire to love well while planted in South Carolina and living in community with others.
